SENIOR SUCCESS SEMINAR FEBRUARY 2, 2017

Please check your Google Drive for the following:

1)                All scans of your letters of acceptance and scholarships

2)                SAR (PDF version)

3)                At least 1 senior picture

4)                Updated résumé

5)                Complete ILP (If you didn’t do it in January) Blank copy in drive—Rename it and fill it out

6)                Complete SENIOR UPDATE Blank copy in drive—Rename it, fill it out, and make sure it is in YOUR DRIVE FOLDER. 

Upcoming Scholarship DEADLINES

     Regions Riding Forward—one 500 word essay (due or before      February 28^th) https://www.regions.com/promo/black-history-scholarship

      Dr. Earl Cunningham Scholarships (due on or before March 10); 

·        

      College Counts (you can start this now)—priority given to students who  have taken Honors, AP, or Dual Enrollment courses (on or before March 1st.)  http://treasury.alabama.gov/collegecounts-scholarship/  

·        

      Bridge Summer Studies Scholarship (Application due April 3)  See  Handout

·        

      University of Montevallo Upward Bound Tuition Scholarship—must  complete Bridge program and attend UM to get this scholarship.  (See  Bridge Information Handout for details)

·        

      Senior Portfolio Prize ($100) for most organized, detailed Senior  Portfolio (due April 17)
